Nickel 200 is created by combining pure wrought nickel with a high-quality evaporator. With more than 99 percent nickel and alloys, Nickel Alloy 200 plate is made with great strength. These modules have remarkable corrosion resistance in various stress-induced systems thanks to the high concentration of nickel found in ASTM B162 Nickel 200 Plate. The adaptable elements of the nickel 200 sheet can survive caustic alkalis in various temperature and pressure regimes below 600 degrees Fahrenheit. The Nickel 200 Strip has excellent magnetic and magnetostriction capabilities and a moderate electrical and thermal conductivity level.
Being a grade of commercially pure wrought alloy that has undergone solution strengthening to enhance its tensile strength characteristics, Even with moving seawater moving at a high velocity, the Werkstoff No. 2.4066 alloy performs admirably.

Nickel 200 sheets, however, may be severely localized and attacked by fouling organisms or other deposits in seawater that are stagnant or moving at very low speeds. The impact strength of Nickel 200 sheets that have been hot-rolled or annealed is often more significant than that of sheets that have been cold-worked. The SAE specification AMS 5553 does, however, also include UNS N02200 strips and sheets in an annealed state.
The alloy has better mechanical characteristics when it has been annealed. When annealing, the plates, coils, sheets, and strips of nickel 200 have a 55 Rockwell hardness rating and 148 MPa yield strength.
Nickel 200 sheets perform well in reducing and neutral applications because they are manufactured with the main nickel components. Due to the formation of a passive oxide film on its surface, ASME SB162 UNS N02200 Sheet has a solid resistance to oxidizing agents. This film defends the alloy when exposed to caustic alkalis in various conditions. These sheets also function effectively in systems with sulfuric, hydrochloric, and organic acids that are not aerated.
