Types of Alloy 20 Flanges

Slip-On Flanges

Compared to other alloys, Alloy 20 Flanges have better corrosion resistance. They are better than Inconel and Duplex steel. This is because alloy 20 has a nominal composition of 35Ni-35Fe-20Cr-Cb. Alloy 20 is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with niobium. It also has a small amount of molybdenum.
Compared to other flanges, alloy 20 Slip On Flanges are easier to install and cheaper. They are also durable and offer good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in boiling sulfuric acid. They are also a good choice for mid-range corrosion applications.

Alloy 20 Slip-On Flanges have a minimum tensile strength of 551MPa. They also have minimum yield strength of 241MPa. The alloy also has a 1443℃ melting point.

Blind Flanges

Various industries use alloy 20 blind flanges for piping systems, mixing tanks and food processing equipment. They offer good resistance to acidic and sulfuric environments and are also resistant to crevice and pitting corrosion. Alloy 20 also has good mechanical strength.
